Friends & Foes

Updated: Aug 7, 2023

The idea behind "Friends and Foes" was to delve into the intricate dynamics of relationships and the delicate line between love and hate. Through the portrayal of three individuals, the piece explores the complexities of their intimate and complex relationships as they navigate moments of tenderness and vulnerability, followed by sudden outbursts of anger and betrayal. The unpredictable nature of these characters and their relationships creates an atmosphere of ambiguity, leaving the group dynamic uncertain and questioning the true nature of their friendship.

"Friends and foes, they come and go, In life's journey, they play their role. Friends are the ones who lift us high, Foes are the ones who make us try. Friends are the ones who lend a hand, Foes are the ones who make us stand. Friends are the ones who make us smile, Foes are the ones who make us strive. Friends are the ones who make us strong, Foes are the ones who make us belong. Friends and foes, they are two sides, Of the same coin that life provides. Friends are the ones who make us grow, Foes are the ones who make us glow."
